Role Responsibility

The Eden Centre offers a multi-agency service to customers in the Edenbridge area, with County Council services and a range of partners from the public and voluntary sectors.

Reporting to the Gateway Co-Ordinator, you will be undertaking a customer facing role. You will be based on the Meet & Greet desk and will work alongside partners and will be responsible for delivering an enquiry service to customers.

You will support the Gateway Co-Ordinator with events and promotions and with the efficient running of The Eden Centre.

The role includes physical activity setting up halls and rooms for hire which includes the movement of tables and chairs. Your health should be appropriate to the needs of the role

There will be some lone working, Saturday and evening working when required.

This post is subject to a Basic Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
