Systems Training Officer
Role Responsibility
The Children, Young People and Education (CYPE) Management Information team requires a Systems Training Officer to create and deliver a range of courses aimed at users of the directorate’s specialist business IT systems Synergy and Core+.
Can you deliver training in a variety of ways, including face to face classroom sessions and remote learning via MS Teams? Developing and creating e-learning courses is required, and writing training plans, user guides and FAQ’s will be an essential part of the role. Experience in using Captivate and Camtasia to create courses is desirable.
The successful candidate will need to build and maintain a thorough understanding of operational business processes, and keep up-to-date with legislation, practice changes and local initiatives to ensure that system training and support remains relevant and up to date. The post holder will be required to participate in User Acceptance Training in Synergy and Core+ and help test system enhancements and systems change requests.
Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, a focus on improving data quality, and the ability to support the implementation of new systems are all key skills that will underpin your work.
The ability to travel across a wide geographical area in a timely and flexible manner at various times of the day is essential. You will travel around the county to train and support staff in a range of office locations.
Sessions House, Maidstone is the primary location, however currently working at home with potentially some office working in Maidstone.
