Gateway Co-ordinator The Eden Centre 

Location: The Eden Centre, Four Elms Road, Edenbridge. Kent, TN8 6BY

The Eden Centre is a face-to-face service that works in partnership with a range of services housed under one roof. The Eden Centre offers a unique mix of partner services to meet customer needs in the locality.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the Gateway team as The Eden Centre Co-ordinator. The 37 hours per week are worked across Monday – Saturday. 

This is a customer services role and day to day, you will manage the daily operations of The Eden Centre, ensuring a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment.  Managing the meet and greet team to help customers resolve enquiries, manage building operational issues as well as working on development projects.

You will be responsible for developing the partner network and promotion of the centre through community outreach, social media, and engagement initiatives including planning and delivering activities and events. 

We are looking for someone who has excellent people management and interpersonal skills. Is organised, confident and resilient in dealing with situations when they arise. 

The role includes manual handling - safely lift, carry and move furniture and equipment including setting up and arranging chairs, tables and other furniture according to event layout. 

Starting salary of £34,421 - £38,304 with annual performance related pay increases.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
