Partnership Development Lead

Role Responsibility

This is a great opportunity to work across two Countryside Management Partnerships (CMPS) based at Trosley Country Park. The role is pivotal to helping maintain the work of the CMPS through partnership working, project development, profile raising and crucially bid writing and securing external/project funding, supporting the delivery of projects and investment across the partnerships.

If you have experience in bid writing, external funding and project development this is a role for you. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate they have worked with a range of partners and organisations in developing projects and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be working as part of a team and with the CMP manager to unlock opportunities in the exciting and developing North Kent & Woods National Nature Reserve and the wider partnership areas of North, West and Mid Kent.

You should demonstrate knowledge and ideally experience in countryside management, with a good understanding of landscape and nature conservation management, public access & interpretation, environmental education, and be educated to HNC, HND or degree level in a relevant subject.

You will be reliable and possess good interpersonal skills with a positive attitude. You will be required to attend the office but can also work at home. This is a varied role with the opportunity to make a real impact across a range of partnership projects and initiatives.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
