Finance, Monitoring and Quality Assurance Officer
Role Responsibility
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the Fair Access Team within the Children, Young People, and Education Directorate,.
We are seeking to appoint a Finance Monitoring and Quality Assurance officer to provide comprehensive support to the Head of Fair Access and Lead Service Managers in the planning and monitoring of the service’s budgets. Supporting the service to identify, plan, implement and maintain cost saving projects and to reinforce and maintain the integrity of the budget.
The Fair Access team are responsible for the County processes including Co-ordinated Admissions, In Year Admissions, Access to Education and Home to School Transport.
To be considered for this role, you should have strong knowledge of IT, excellent communication and listening skills, with a fluency in English and understand the importance of maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. You will need demonstrable technical skills and have experience of dealing with financial planning and monitoring.
You should also have a desire to provide excellent customer service, be self motivated, and able to demonstrate an ability to work under pressure, as consistently meeting deadlines is essential.
We are looking for a positive person, with a ‘can-do’ approach who can rise to the pressures within the Fair Access team, providing a customer focused service, which exceeds their expectations.
