The Access to Education Team ensure that all children and young people (CYP) receive an education as is their entitlement by law.

We are looking to recruit a passionate individual with the drive and motivation to make a difference to the lives of children & young people in Kent.

You will provide support and advice to families who Electively Home Educate (EHE) their children and young people (CYP).  You will visit families offering advice and guidance, recording the learning, progress, achievements, and welfare of CYP who are registered with the authority, across Kent, where this is needed.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage complex and challenging situations.

You will work collaboratively with partners and colleagues to ensure that CYP registered to EHE are in receipt of a suitable education and that all Year 11 CYP have a recorded onward destination.
