Contracted Cafe Supervisor
Role Responsibility
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Kent County Council, Country Parks team.
We seek a Café Supervisor for one of our sites, Manor Park Country Park.
Manor Park Country Park is a 52-acre park, with an onsite café. The café caters for visitors with takeaway hot & cold food, snacks, ice creams & drinks.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable member of staff interested in catering and hospitality to work in our café.
Working Hours:
- Sunday 8.30 – 5 summer/8.30 – 3pm winter
- Mondays 9.30 – 4.30 summer/9.30 – 3.30 winter
- Also cover for holiday and sickness where required
This position would suit someone who is able to be flexible.
You should hold a level 2 food safety certificate and hold or be willing to obtain a level 3 food safety certificate.
You will be responsible for ensuring food safety procedures are adhere to by yourself and staff working with you, keeping cleaning and temperature records up to date and staff training where appropriate. You will also be responsible for ordering and working closely with our existing Café Supervisor.
You should possess good interpersonal skills, a positive attitude towards customer care and able to cope under pressure.
You will be responsible for catering staff.
There is loan working involved during the week during term time
The café will be open every day with the exception of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Training & Uniform will be provided.
