Campaigns and Insight Officer

Role Responsibility

We are looking for someone to join the friendly and enthusiastic Explore Kent team which lives and breathes the great outdoors and a love for Kent’s environment. 

You will be creating targeted marketing to promote the benefits of being active in green and blue space and engaging with nature, as well as promoting active travel, using on and offline channels. You will need to be able to provide a high-quality marketing service and forge excellent relationships with key partners. 

Explore Kent has award winning digital channels and you will have experience of marketing including producing creative and engaging content for social media channels and websites as well as working with creative agencies. 

You will be an analytical thinker and be able to research available data to produce insight about how and why people access and appreciate Kent’s natural environment.

Would you like to join our friendly team? You will have great communication and customer care skills and the ability to work well under your own initiative as well as part of a team. 

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.

This post is based in West Malling. However, the team works in a hybrid way, from home as well as from KCC offices across the county. There is occasional evening and weekend work.
