Business Support Officer - Child Employment and Entertainment
Role Responsibility
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and organised Business Support Officer to join the Attendance and Inclusion Service. You will be working as part of the Child Employment and Entertainment Team providing administrative support to assist in the smooth running of the service.
The role requires someone with excellent organisation and communication skills. You must be able to proactively manage your workload whilst responding to urgent requests and deadlines. You will have strong administrative and IT skills and the ability to collate and manage data. You will also need to demonstrate a confident manner in liaising with the public, professionals, and organisations, acting as a contact point for the Service. You will coordinate appointments and monitor applications and timescales. The work is interesting, varied and demanding, including administration of performance licences, chaperone licences and work permits. We need someone with a calm and organised approach who can make a positive contribution to the success of the team.
Applicants will have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and be able to demonstrate good communication skills whilst working under pressured time frames. You will have the ability to work under your own initiative in a demanding environment.
The role is based at Invicta House, Maidstone; however, you will mainly work from home at this time.
The post is subject to a Basic Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
