Service Improvement Officer

Role Responsibility

An Exciting Opportunity to work in Kent’s Children, Young People & Education (CYPE) Transformation and Innovation Unit

We are passionate about improving the lives of children, young people and their families and we are searching for the right people to help us achieve this.

As a Service Improvement Officer, you'll be experienced in using a variety of techniques to identify opportunities to improve the way we deliver across a range of children’s and young people’s services. You'll be able to use research,  interpret data and apply improvement methodologies and mindsets to complex problems across services.

You’ll need to create and work within multidisciplinary teams to make sure your work is focusing on the right things and maximising our services impact to improve the outcomes and experiences for children, young people and families – creating lasting change, both through our work and the way that we do it. You’ll build relationships with the people we work with and help instil the values of the Council.

Your responsibilities will include;

  • Developing detailed improvement frameworks
  • Developing comprehensive understanding of the end to end system across a range of services
  • Project management – ensuring all projects are delivered within timescales
  • Conducting system wide improvement reviews and developing effective cases for change
  • Stakeholder management at all levels
  • Planning, delivering and facilitating workshops, bringing together the right people and tools
