Pensions Project Manager - Continuous Improvement

Role Responsibility

We are delighted to confirm this new KR10 post within Kent County Council’s Pensions & Treasury service, for Kent Pension Fund. The role is permanent, full-time (37 hours a week). The primary location for this role is Maidstone, Kent and the successful candidate will undertake hybrid working (both home and office working, according to business needs). We welcome applications from both internal and external applicants.

The post holder will work within our Projects team, which works across our large and successful Pensions & Treasury Service. The new role is vital to our digital-by-default vision and the modernisation of Kent Pension Fund.

The key purpose of this role is the implementation of service improvements for Kent Pension Fund so that they become business as usual. A critically important part of the role is the engagement and education of colleagues on the new ways of working, so that colleagues know what the new working practices are, what to do and how.

The role is about imbedding continuous improvement systems and services that benefit Kent Pension Fund and its stakeholders.  These projects will make best use of technological advances and will seek delivery efficiencies within pension administration systems. Consequently, experience in managing projects that facilitate pensions administration or pension fund management is essential.
