Fixed Term for 12 Months - Secondments considered for internal applicants

Kent County Council’s Exchequer Services team is preparing for an exciting transition to Oracle Cloud, and we are looking for two proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Administration Officers to support this transformation.

Role Descriptions:

We have vacancies in two key areas:

  • Accounts Payable Team
    You’ll be responsible for processing invoices and payment requests with precision and efficiency, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers.
  • Control Team
    Your role will include setting up and amending supplier and customer records, managing Accounts Receivable invoices, supporting daily payment runs, and handling corporate card queries.

Candidate Requirements:

We’re seeking candidates who:

  • Have strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Are confident working with financial data and systems
  • Can manage their workload effectively and contribute to a team environment
  • Have experience with financial systems (Oracle experience is a plus, but not essential—training will be provided)
