Kent Resource Partnership Manager
Role Responsibility
The Kent Resource Partnership represents both tiers of local government in Kent. Consisting of the twelve District & Borough Councils and the County Council, it is an ambitious partnership that is driving forward the circular economy and low carbon agenda primarily focused around joint waste collection and disposal strategies. The partnership group is wide ranging, delivering co-ordination and innovative strategies to reduce environmental crime and Keeping Kent Clean. The Partnership seeks an experienced, talented Kent Resource Partnership Manager to lead and co-ordinate all members through the changes and benefits that the Environment Bill will undoubtedly bring.
Whilst Waste Management experience is highly desirable, the candidate will also possess experience to bring local government groups, local packaging and trade organisations to foster support and deliver against the common aims defined by the Kent Joint Municipal Waste Strategy. The candidate will be forward thinking, ambitious and demonstrate self-development to learn and grow in line with the ambitions of all local authorities in their pursuit of the goal to reduce the carbon footprint whilst delivering resident centred statutory services.
