DofE Support Officer

Role Responsibility

We need an enthusiastic and resourceful person to join the Kent County Council Duke of Edinburgh's Award Team. Duties will include data entry; word processing; booking meetings events and venues; and providing administrative support for events and Officers. The main focus of this role will be to support the planning and delivery of Expedition and Residential Activity programmes.  

Experience of maintaining and monitoring allocated budgets along with the ability to work accurately and to deadlines.  Keyboard skills are essential but training on specific software packages is available. Training specific to DofE will be given.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
