Communications, Engagement & Marketing Officer - Kent Country Parks

Role Responsibility

Kent Country Parks are seeking an experienced communication and marketing professional 4 days/29.6 hours a week to join the team. This is a new and exciting role which will drive the marketing, customer engagement and communication work across our 9 KCC country parks and the varied and exciting services we offer including team building, events, Forest School qualifications, school visits, birthday parties and venue hire.

You will be delivering targeted marketing campaigns to drive sales, provide customer information in a clear and concise way and interpret customer feedback to identify areas for our continuous improvement. This is an exciting role that will work across all areas of our service and you be assisting in developing the offer Kent Country Parks provides. You must be a team player, a confident communicator and have a creative approach, as well as having significant marketing experience which will benefit Kent Country Parks. The post will be based at a country park in North or West Kent with flexible working.

Interviews will be held wc 1st August 2022.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
