Business Support Lead
Role Responsibility
A unique opportunity has arisen for a Business Support Lead in Sevenoaks Family Hubs based in Swanley. The role is for 2 days per week up until 31st December 2024.
This role would suit an experienced Business Support Officer, looking for personal growth and professional development. This role is based at the Swanley Family Hub in Swanley.
The role requires excellent organisational and communication skills. As Acting Business Support Lead you will assist the District Manager, ensuring processes and systems are effective, up to date and accurate. You will also provide administrative support to the District Manager. You must be able to proactively manage your workload whilst responding to urgent requests and deadlines. You will have strong administrative, finance, minuting and IT skills and the ability to collate and manage data.
You will need to demonstrate a confident manner in liaising with professionals and organisations, acting as a contact point for the service, coordinating a range of meetings and monitoring staff performance. The work is interesting, varied and demanding, and we need someone with a calm and organised approach who can make a positive contribution to the success of the team.
About You
- Extensive experience of working in a customer facing environment
- A flexible attitude to working across a wide geographical area
- An excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and other IT applications and experience in streamlining and reviewing processes, implementing improvements in work practices
- Proven experience in providing comprehensive administrative and financial support, demonstrating proficiency in handling budgetary information, processing invoices, and ensuring financial compliance.
- Experience of minute taking complex meetings with a high number of attendees.
