Business Support Assistant

Role Responsibility

Are you an organised, friendly, and proactive individual who thrives in a busy environment? We’re looking for a dedicated Business Support Assistant to join our Family Time Service in Canterbury.

In this vital role, you’ll be the welcoming face of our service—supporting reception duties, managing room bookings, and providing essential administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You’ll be working closely with families, professionals, and colleagues, helping to maintain a safe, efficient, and compassionate environment for all.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Greeting and assisting visitors, families, and professionals at our Cow Lane site.
  • Handling phone and email enquiries with professionalism and care.
  • Maintaining accurate records and supporting data entry on internal systems.
  • Managing room bookings and ensuring spaces are prepared for use.
  • Supporting the team with general administrative tasks and contributing to a positive team culture.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and internal systems.
  • A team player with the ability to work independently and prioritise tasks.
  • A commitment to confidentiality, safeguarding, and excellent customer service.

Please note: This is an in-person role based at Cow Lane, Wincheap, Canterbury. Due to the front-facing nature of the position and reception responsibilities, hybrid or remote working is not considered for this post.
