Business Assurance Officer

Role Responsibility

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Business Assurance Team. Working within the Infrastructure and Technology Divisions, this role coordinates all governance, business planning, risk, corporate reporting and audit activity, supporting the Management Team to comply with any requirements arising from them.

The role oversees and ensures that Infrastructure responds appropriately to FOI, EIR and SAR requests, complaints and queries and acts as Infrastructure’s Senior Information Risk Officer. The role is also responsible for the development, allocation of ownership and reporting of Infrastructure’s Annual Business Plan and oversees tracking the Division’s overall Business Performance and Risks.

Applicants will have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and possess a high level of organisational skills with the ability to prioritise their workload to meet deadlines in a demanding environment.

We are looking for someone who is solution focused, and who can offer consistency and guidance to the function to ensure tasks and relevant knowledge is shared. Applicants will need to be self-motivated and possess excellent interpersonal skills. The successful applicant will be expected to learn internal IT applications and work collaboratively with colleagues across the divisions.

The team operate a hybrid work model that includes a mix of working from home and working from Invicta House in Maidstone.
