Administration Officer

Role Responsibility

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can efficiently handle pressure and manage multiple conflicting priorities within a small and friendly team- Careline (Kent Enablement at Home, out-of-hours service).

This dynamic administration role supports the Kent Enablement at Home service outside of regular office hours. The position involves frequently using computer systems, recording and sharing important information with the team, maintaining accurate records, and prioritising collaboration with immediate and wider teams. Additionally, you will communicate daily with service users and their families through phone or email.

The role requires excellent communication skills and phone etiquette. Maintaining confidentiality and handling complex matters with tact and diplomacy is crucial when dealing with individuals requiring support and the support staff working in the community.

Careline Team operates year-round, from 06:30-09:00 and 17:00-22:00 Mon-Fri, and 07:00-22:00 on Sat, Sun, and Bank Holidays. The employee will have the option to work remotely but must be able to travel to Kroner House, Ashford, for induction, training and, in case of network failure, potentially on short notice.

We are seeking an Administrative Officer to work 11.00 hours per week over a 4-week rota as follows:

Week 1: Tuesday 18.00-21.00, Saturday 18.00-21.00, Sunday 18.00-21.00

Week 2 : Tuesday 18.00-21.00, Friday 17.00-21.00, Saturday 17.00-21.00, Sunday 17.00-21.00

Week 3: Tuesday 18.00-21.00

Week 4: Tuesday 18.00-21.00, Friday 17.00-21.00,Saturday 17.00-21.00, Sunday 17.00-21.00 

There will be the opportunity to work extra hours to assist in keeping the service up and running.
