Administration Officer - North Kent Social Care Business Support Team
Role Responsibility
Fixed Term: 6 Months
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and committed Administration Officer within the North Kent Social Care Business Support Team based in Dartford Gravesend, Swanley area.
You will provide comprehensive administration support to the Area Referral Management Service, Supporting and Promoting Independence and Social Work Team. You will work 30 hours across 4 days a week - 8.30am - 5pm.
You will need to be conscientious, flexible with excellent literacy, numeracy and computer skills, able to use a range of IT Systems to a high level. We require good interpersonal skills when communicating with the public, services users, health and social care professionals. You will need to have excellent organisational skills and be able to prioritise workload and work to deadlines either on your own or as part of a team.
You will be required to organise professional and business meetings involving a wide variety of staff and multi agencies and have the ability to produce high quality and comprehensive minutes and follow up actions.
Regular formal supervision and training will be given to support your development within the role.
This post is considered by Kent County Council to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set our in the Job Description/ Person Specification.
