Role Responsibility

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Kent County Council, Country Parks team who provide leisure, education, events, venue hire and café services across 9 Country Parks in Kent.

The Lullingstone Country Park Visitor Services and Events Assistant, role is to provide a high quality front-line service within the Visitor Centre shop and reception.

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer service focused individual, with a passion for dealing with customers face to face. It is essential that you have customer service experience ideally within a leisure or retail setting.

You will work closely with the Visitor Services, Ranger and Café team to ensure that customers receive a joined up friendly, warm and welcoming experience, when visiting the park.

You will report to the Visitor Services & Events Manager for Kent Country Parks.

This is a permanent part-time position averaging 7.9 hours per week, working every Sunday . Your daily start and finish times will vary seasonally between 8.45am and 5.30 pm.

You may be required to work Bank Holiday and weekends on occasions.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
