Infrastructure and Environmental Compliance Support Officer
Role Responsibility
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Infrastructure and Environmental Compliance Support Officer. We are looking for a motivated individual who is keen to demonstrate their experience of working as an administrative assistant in a customer-oriented environment.
The role will provide an administrative service for the Resource Management & Circular Economy (waste management) department to support the work of primarily the Infrastructure and Environmental Compliance team but also provide cover for the other teams within the department. The team is responsible for the strategic planning of new waste infrastructure required to support the whole department as well as the management of closed landfill sites. The role will be an essential part of this team and be required to process service provider invoices, administer customer contacts, raise purchase orders, arrange equipment servicing, update risk assessments, undertake site visits and provide support for meetings.
This full-time role will be able to utilise hybrid working with a mix of working from the office and from home. The office base will be Invicta House, Maidstone.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
