Videographer

Role Responsibility

We are looking for a brilliant videographer to join us to create impactful short and long form videos in a variety of styles, from social-first to journalistic to campaign marketing materials. 

As the MRX (Marketing and Residential Experience) videographer you’ll be making content that has impact and helps make a real difference for our residents.

Your job is to plan, shoot and edit videos that get our services noticed. You should be capable of working with existing campaign concepts and also be able to propose new ideas. You should be comfortable filming in a variety of locations, as well helping get the best performance from those you are filming. We’re looking for someone who knows what works on social media and who is confident of filming and editing quality content.

You will be:

  • Proposing original video ideas that create impactful content
  • Producing videos from concept to delivery
  • Also collaborating on campaign video with other creatives


Requirements

You love making videos!

You know what’ll make a standout edit or an intriguing Facebook post.
You can think big with small budgets.

You have

  • Excellent camera, lighting, sound recording, and editing skills
  • Skills to create engaging digital graphics
  • Excellent video production experience for digital channels including social media
  • Advanced Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier Pro, and Creative Cloud app skills
  • Ability to produce a video from concept to a final edit, and all the steps in between.
  • Proven experience of managing performance in front of camera
  • Demonstrable project management skills and ability to organise yourself and others
  • Lots of enthusiasm and good ideas 
  • Post holder must be able to travel around a wide geographic area in a timely and flexible manner as required

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
