Tribunal Administration Assistant
Role Responsibility
The SEND Tribunal Team is seeking a full time Tribunal Administration Assistant to be part of our vibrant and fast-paced service. As a crucial member of our team, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our tribunal services.
You can expect to collaborate with our dedicated Tribunal Officers, assisting them in handling SEND Tribunal appeals. Your organisational skills and attention to detail will be invaluable in meeting tight deadlines. We are looking for someone who is highly organised and possesses excellent IT and problem-solving skills. You will be confident in dealing with professionals and members of the public on the telephone. You will be required to deal with highly sensitive and confidential information.
This role is anything but mundane! Expect a dynamic environment where multitasking and a keen eye for detail are essential. You’ll thrive under pressure and contribute to our team’s success.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
This post is subject to a Basic Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
The team currently has a hybrid model of working with some days in the office and some days working from home. You will be fully supported to do this, with the necessary induction, management, and equipment. You will be required to come into Invicta House, Maidstone, as and when required, and there may also be occasions where you need to travel to external meetings.
