SEND Quality Assurance and Practice Development Officer
Role Responsibility
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional person to join the SEND Quality Assurance and Practice Development Service in the SEND Department of KCC as a part time (0,4 days /2 days per week) Quality Assurance and Practice Development Officer.
In this role you will support the SEND Quality Assurance and Practice Development Manager to ensure the SEND service is discharging the Local Authorities statutory duties and are fully compliant to the legislative framework in relation to the statutory EHC Needs assessment process.
You will preferably have a background in education and have experience in the Educational Health and Care Plan Needs assessment process although this is not absolutely essential.
You will have is an eye for data and analysis and able to provide reports on patterns and trends which will support strategic planning, a desire for improving the quality of service, processes, and performance.
You will also have a good knowledge of SEND Law and the legal framework of SEN legislation and its application to support our staff in the SEND Service to make improvements in their work by offering training based on the findings of the audits we do and feedback from our stakeholders.
