Technical Support Officer

Role Responsibility

Three exciting opportunities have arisen to work in the Environment and Circular Economy as a Technical Support Officer. We are looking for a motivated individual who is keen to demonstrate their experience of working in a customer-orientated environment.

The role will act as the first point of contact within the team for customers and stakeholders, ensuring a high quality of service is provided. The role will assist and support the Resource Management and Circular Economy Team in the delivery of the key functions of the service, undertaking daily administrative duties including financial management support. 

The role will also require excellent interpersonal, complaint handling and communication skills, dealing with a variety of internal and external customers and stakeholders. There is also a requirement to be confident with IT systems and processes.

This full-time role will be able to utilise hybrid working with a mix of working from the office and from home. The office base will be Invicta House, Maidstone. 

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
