Technical Support Officer (Major Capital Programme)

Role Responsibility

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our expanding Major Capital Programme Team, responsible for delivering high-value transport and infrastructure projects across Kent. This role offers the opportunity to be involved with over 75 schemes in various stages of development.

In your role, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality customer service managing administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our projects and handling mailbox enquiries from the team, public, internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will handle a range of administrative tasks, from coordinating meetings and resolving customer queries to overseeing financial matters, such as ensuring timely invoice payments.

Requirements

- High level of computer literacy

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications

- Ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines

- Strong communication skills

We are eager to welcome candidates who have demonstrated experience in financial and project support. While we will provide all the essential training, we anticipate that the successful candidate will exhibit a strong enthusiasm eagerness for learning and skill enhancement.

After a successful probationary period, the appointed candidate will have the opportunity to undertake a Level 4 Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship course.
