Team Coordinator

Role Responsibility

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Co-ordinator based within Dartford.

This is an interesting and exciting opportunity for the right candidate who will play an active role in all aspects of service delivery.

You will need to be person centred, have a good understanding of the needs and of people with learning disabilities and promote their rights and choices.

The role will be working mainly within Dartford services, and there is an expectation that the role has a visible presence within the service, there is an expectation of support across our other community services where needed.

This role is subject to holding a Full UK Driving Licence – The Council is committed to making reasonable adjustments so whilst this job requires the jobholder to drive your application will still be considered if you are unable to drive due to a disability.

The successful applicant will have an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social care, or equivalent, and the Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or willingness to work towards) as well as appropriate relevant experience of working with adults with disabilities.

This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
