Sustainable Business Projects Facilitator

Please Note: The application deadline for this job has now passed.

Role Responsibility

With COP26 shifting more focus onto sustainable practices and ‘Net Zero’ for organisations at all levels, a great suite of existing schemes and several exciting new projects launching this Autumn, a fantastic opportunity has arisen within the Low Carbon Kent team at Kent County Council.

As the Sustainable Business Project Facilitator, you will work across a wide range of projects and themes to deliver the green recovery and clean growth we support under the Low Carbon Kent banner and as part of the Kent Environment Strategy. This post will involve working with public, private and third sector delivery partners to successfully manage key work stream activities for a portfolio of environmental projects to further enhance the impact that each project can bring across Kent and the wider region. This will be a hugely varied yet rewarding role, challenging behaviours, supporting innovation and helping embed positive changes within our SME and wider communities.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
