We are looking for an ambitious, organised and highly motivated Planner who is looking for a new challenge in Kent, shaping and influencing development in the County.
Principal Strategic Planning and Infrastructure Officer
This post is within the Strategic Planning and Infrastructure Service. With the drive and enthusiasm to take a leading role in understanding and promoting the county’s infrastructure and growth. The post holder will work with Members, colleagues and services across Kent to help establish the County Council’s position on planning and growth. The post holder will take the lead in building strong and productive relationships with Local Planning Authorities and other stakeholders and in coordinating responses to strategic planning applications, NSIPs, Local Plans and other related planning consultations and in responding and influencing emerging national policy, in the backdrop of local government reform and devolution.
The successful candidate for the post will demonstrate a proven ability to work within a complex and varied environment. Your innovative and flexible approach will enable you to successfully meet outcomes and will make an impact on planning, infrastructure, and growth in Kent.
