Service Manager - Early Help East Kent
Role Responsibility
We have an opportunity for an experienced manager, who has worked in Children’s Care Sector, to join our dynamic team in the beautiful East coast area of Kent. The opening is based in Whitstable which encompasses the City of Canterbury, the coastal and rural areas of Herne Bay and Whitstable. The role also covers responsibility for the Thanet District which includes Birchington, Westgate, Margate, Broadstairs.

We are looking for passionate Manager to join our dynamic team who are committed to providing high quality services to children, young people, and their families, working closely with our multi agency partners. This is a key leadership role so naturally we are looking for someone with extensive experience of leading and managing diverse teams as well as knowledge of what interventions families need to make a sustained improved change.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing six Early Help Units, each with a dedicated Unit lead and team of passionate workers. You will be expected to be creative and innovate in your practice, striving for excellence through continuous review of standards and practice within a culture of high support and high challenge. The team work as an Area and seek to standardise best practice and approaches ensuring that learning is a collegiate experience and skills and expertise are shared.
