Senior Transport & Development Planner

Role Responsibility

Opportunities have arisen for 2 x Senior Transport and Development Planners covering Kent Thameside and Tunbridge Wells & West.  These are permanent positions at grade KR10 and you will be able to work flexibly from home and at KCC offices within a friendly and supportive team.

Your main responsibilities will include advising on the transport aspects of development sites and planning applications, securing funding and coordinating the delivery of schemes.

These are exciting roles for motivated transport and development planners looking to broaden their experience, guiding the way in which developments can come forward to deliver jobs and housing as part of our sustainable growth ambition for Kent.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
