Senior Night Carer - Westbrook Integrated Care Centre
Westbrook Integrated Care Centre is seeking a Permanent Senior night care worker for 20hrs per week position.
Westbrook offers services to Older Adults 55 years +. We have two 15 bedded units. One supports individuals living with dementia who may require either period of respite or social care assessment. The other unit supports individuals who may need some rehabilitation and enablement.
The successful candidate will be joining a team which provides person centred care supporting Service Users to maintain and improve their mobility and independence and achieve identified goals with the assistance of in-house Occupational Therapists.
We are looking for motivated individuals with a “Can do” and caring approach.
Candidates should have experience of working in a health and social care setting and leading and supervising a small team of staff. Be competent in administration of medication and demonstrate good communication and recording skills with the ability to interact positively and effectively with service users, colleagues, professionals, and staff.
Candidates will have an a Diploma/NVQ level 2 in health and social care or equivalent and be willing to work towards their level 3.
Candidates must be flexible and reliable and willing to work waking nights and unsociable hours which will include some weekends and bank holidays.
Our set night hours are 21.30- 07.30.
