Senior Administration Officer - Kent and Medway Safeguarding Adults Board

Role Responsibility

An opportunity has arisen to join a small, friendly team to provide senior, high level administrative support to the Kent and Medway Safeguarding Adults Board. More information about the work that we do is available here:

This is an interesting and varied role which offers the opportunity to work with multi-agency partners, including Kent County Council, Medway Council, Kent Police and the Integrated Care Board.

- proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and MS Teams

- is diligent and well organised

- has an eye for detail and possesses a high standard of verbal, minute taking and literacy     skills

This role is hybrid so there is a mixture of office / home working subject to business needs and demands.  You may occasionally be asked to travel across the county to attend and assist with meetings and events.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
