Role Responsibility

This is an exciting and busy environment with multiple priorities where work needs to be carried out efficiently, precisely and at a fast pace. It is essential that you thrive in a highly pressurised and demanding environment and have a high level of resilience. 

Working within the central tribunal team the post holder is responsible for providing an accurate and robust response to local authority appeals to the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal (SENDT). 

This post is subject to a Basic Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service..

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
