SEN Finance Assistant

Role Responsibility

The SEN (Special Educational Needs) Finance Team is looking for a part-time, permanent assistant, the ideal candidate will have:

- Experience of working in a finance environment though full training to be given.

- Experience in providing a high level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

- Great organisational skills, be self-motivated and reliable.

- Well-developed IT skills with a strong focus on Excel.

- An enthusiastic and resilient approach whilst undertaking your tasks.

This role is currently a remote, home-based position, with access to KCC’s offices across Kent as required.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
