We are looking to expand our highly regarded and well-resourced Public Health team and now have a fantastic opportunity to appoint two innovative and forward-thinking Consultants in Public Health to help us to drive our exciting agenda forward.
The Consultant portfolios are:
- AAC reference: AAC0001290 – Consultant in Public Health leading in Adults and Older People
- AAC reference: AAC0001291 – Consultant in Public Health leading in Healthy Behaviours and Communities
You will need to be a UK qualified public health consultant with a passion for tackling health inequalities and up for the challenge of working in a complex and diverse environment. We have an experienced team working to achieve the aspirations of our members for improving the health and wellbeing of the Kent population.
We are well integrated into the council and support the Kent and Medway Integrated Care System and have a Public Health commissioning programme of circa £80 million with a major focus on reducing health inequalities.
Kent is recognised as an excellent training site for public health specialists, has an integral Kent Public Health Observatory https://www.kpho.org.uk and library function and has national recognition for several programmes including Public Health research linked with Europe.
You could be newly qualified and seeking your first Consultant post or an experienced Consultant looking for an opportunity to make a real impact.
