Public Health Analyst

Role Responsibility

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Public Health Intelligence team at Kent County Council as a full time Public Health Analyst.

The Public Health Analyst will provide important analytical input into the process of understanding health needs in the area, addressing health inequalities, and determining priorities for action. They will support senior analysts and collaborate with other analysts and information officers within the team across a broad range of work including health needs assessments, equity audits, programme evaluations, data retrieval and maintenance, and GDPR.

This post is subject to a Basic Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
