Project Support Coordinator

Role Responsibility

We are looking for a candidate to fill the roles of Project Support Coordinator for the Digital Kent workstream of the Financial Hardship Programme, Strategic and Corporate Services – Strategy, Policy, Relationships and Corporate Assurance (ST – SPRCA). The role is to be based at Sessions House in Maidstone, however you will be able to work flexibly, including working from home.

The role is fixed term roles until 31st December 2022. For internal applicants this could be a Secondment opportunity.

These are newly created and exciting roles, supporting the Digital Lead (Inclusion and Capability) and the wider team to improve digital inclusion and capability in Kent. 

We would consider applications from applicants that wish to work alternative hours, including job-share or part-time hours.

Successful candidates will provide administrative and project coordination support to the digital team, with the ability to focus on one or more of the following areas of work across the team:

  • Hardware Access and Recycling
  • Systems and Platforms
  • Volunteer Champion Network

This role is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
