Personal Assistant to the Assistant Director of SEND
Role Responsibility
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and committed Personal Assistant to provide support to the Assistant Director of SEND (Special Educational Needs Service (SEND Service). You will provide comprehensive support to the Assistant Director of SEND and the Senior Management Team.
You will need to be highly organised and be able to prioritise your work, together with a willingness to be flexible to meet the needs of the Service and the confidence to deal with competing demands. Good administrative skills, diary management, a good knowledge of computer systems and the ability to take high quality minutes during meetings are essential. Training and formal supervision will be provided.
This post is considered by Kent County Council to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
