Permanent Relief Care Worker - Westbrook House
Role Responsibility
Westbrook House Integrated Registered Care Centre are looking to recruit to three Permanent Relief Care Worker positions. You must be flexible, reliable and willing to work a rota which will include early and late shifts, weekends and bank holidays. You should have a Diploma/NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or demonstrate a willingness to undertake this qualification, and all other mandatory training that will be essential for the role.
You should have experience in health and social care and demonstrate high levels of person centred care. You must have good communication skills and the ability to interact with service users and their families. You will need to be able to work as part of a team.
You will need to complete a full induction programme.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
