Enablement Worker

Role Responsibility

An exciting opportunity for a Kent Enablement Worker has arisen to join us in Kent Enablement Service.

Kent Enablement Service (KES) is looking for someone who has, or who is willing to gain experience working with people within Health & Social Care. 

KES supports people from 18 years old, including people with Autism, learning disabilities and Mental Health. 

We provide short term outcome focussed support for up to 8 weeks to enable people to reach their maximum potential in targeted areas of their life. 

KES keeps the individuals at the centre of everything we do. 

We are looking for someone who is flexible, motivated, be able to work autonomously and have an empathetic approach. 

The role will be based primarily at the DGS, however, the ability to travel across a wide geographical area in a timely manner is required. Mileage allowance provided. 

The successful candidate would be required to evidence that they have the core values required of staff working in our services and will need to hold or working towards Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care. Good communication, computer and organisational skills are essential to the job role.

Interviews to be held on 12 and 13 June 2025 in Gravesend, Gravesham Borough Council Civic Centre Windmill Street Gravesend Kent DA12 1AU.
