PA to Director of Education

Role Responsibility

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent, full-time PA to the Director of Education. 

We are looking for an exceptional individual who can hit the ground running and have skills in the following areas:

  • Excellent Administrative and IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • A professional, flexible attitude to working at all times with a ‘can do’ approach
  • A good team player, but also able to work well in isolation
  • Work well under pressure with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Experience of working in a highly confidential environment
  • Able to remain calm under pressure and remain resilient and focused
  • Be able to demonstrate a confident manner in liaising with the public, professionals and organisations
  • Ability to coordinate a range of meetings, take minutes and manage forward plans

The work is interesting, varied and demanding and we need someone with a calm and organised approach who can make a positive contribution to the success of the service.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
