Management Information Assistant
Role Responsibility
An exciting development opportunity has arisen with the Management Information & Intelligence team within the Children, Young People and Education (CYPE) Directorate. We are seeking a Management Information Assistant to play a key role in enhancing the quality and reporting of Education data.
This post is ideal for someone with an eye for detail as you will carry out accurate, timely and high-quality data input, collation, processing and analysis to ensure the operational delivery of excellent management information services.
The post requires you to work independently as well as part of a team, to understand the importance of data quality and to ensure appropriate checks are made regularly to the datasets that we hold, resolving data errors/queries where possible or to escalate to Management Information Officers where no known resolution can be applied.
You will be able to understand information and learn quickly to adapt to new systems and ways of working. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential in order to work effectively with customers within KCC directorates and education providers. Experience in the use of Microsoft Excel is highly desirable. The post would suit an extremely organised individual with excellent data quality and customer service skills.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
