Kent Pathways Support Worker

Please Note: The application deadline for this job has now passed.

Role Responsibility

Do you want to make a difference to someone every day? If the answer to this is yes, then you may be the right person for this job.

Kent Pathways Service (KPS) is looking for someone who has experience of working with individuals with a broad spectrum of needs in Social Care. You will need to be flexible, motivated, and able to work autonomously.

The position we are recruiting to covers Ashford, Canterbury and Coastal areas, however there is an expectation that you may be required to work in other areas as KPS covers the whole of Kent so the ability to travel across a wide geographical area in a timely manner is essential.

KPS supports people from 16 years old including people with Autism, learning disabilities, older people, and Mental Health needs.

We provide short term outcome focussed support for up to 12 weeks to enable people to reach their maximum potential in targeted areas of their life. KPS keeps the individuals at the centre of everything we do.

KPS invests in staff offering a developing and learning culture to continually improve how we work to support individuals to achieve better outcomes.

As an Investor in People KCC believes in maximising the use of people’s skills, improving diversity and inclusion.

This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
