An exciting opportunity for a Kent Enablement Worker has arisen to join us in Kent Enablement Service.

Kent Enablement Service (KES) is looking for someone who has, or who is willing to gain experience working with people within Health & Social Care.
KES supports people from 18 years old, including people with Autism, learning disabilities and/or Mental Health.
We provide short term outcome focussed support for up to 12 weeks to enable people to reach their maximum potential in targeted areas of their life.
KES keeps the individuals at the centre of everything we do.
We are looking for someone who is flexible, motivated, be able to work autonomously and have an empathetic approach.
The role will be based primarily at Dover, Deal, Sandwich and surrounding villages, however, the ability to travel across a wide geographical area in a timely manner is required. Mileage allowance provided.
This role is subject to holding a Full UK Driving Licence – The Council is committed to making reasonable adjustments so whilst this job requires the jobholder to drive your application will still be considered if you are unable to drive due to a disability.
You would be required to evidence that they have the core values required of staff working in our services and will need to be willing to work towards or hold the Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care. Good communication, computer and organisational skills are essential to the job role.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
