Income Recovery Visiting Officer

Role Responsibility

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Financial Assessment & Income function. The position of Income Recovery Visting Officer is based in Maidstone however, we undertake hybrid working, meaning that we work from home and the office, depending on business needs. The position available is permanent, full time (37 hours per week).

Acting in a senior position within the Income Recovery team, you will use your excellent knowledge and technical experience to improve the recovery of income and reduce debt owed to the authority. Adopting a pro-active approach, whilst imparting knowledge and assisting officers within the Income Recovery teams, you will help develop and shape the recovery process.

You must be positive, engaging, adaptable to change, and possess excellent organisational, numeracy and communication skills. You will be able to demonstrate compassion and knowledge when working with debtors during face-to-face visits, ensuring that recovery is efficient, informative, and successful.

This role requires the regular completion of face-to-face visits around Kent, the successful candidate must therefore be able to travel regularly as required by the business.
