Functional Skills Tutor
Role Responsibility
Functional English Tutor is required for immediate start.
Adult Education at Dartford have provided Everyday English to the learners with learning mental disability who require care in a low secure setting in Dartford. Learners and tutor are well supported by the in-house centre staff who work closely as a team.
Hours: Thursday morning from 10:00 – 12.00 with immediate effect to July 2024. Students are working towards ILP personal targets and are keen to continue their learning.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
