Finance & Information Assistant – SEN (Special Educational Needs)

Fixed Term 1 year (initially) with possibility of extending beyond 1 year

Ideal candidate would wish to work towards AAT qualification.

We are looking for a fixed term Finance & Information Assistant to work within the busy SEN Finance Team – you must have excellent IT skills, with MS Excel skills needing to be strong. The main duties and responsibilities include:

helping to provide a high quality financial and data information support function under the direction of the Finance & Information Officer. To maintain Special Education Needs (SEN) financial and data systems which ensure the Local Authority is able to discharge its statutory obligations under the Children & Families Act 2014.

The post is initially fixed term for 1 year but it may be possible to extend the fixed term beyond this period for the right person.
