KCC have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Executive Support Assistant to the Director of Education. If you have experience providing support to senior managers and are confident in your ability to work independently while managing conflicting priorities and timescales, then this may be the perfect job for you.

Interview Date:

Interviews for this role will take place on Wednesday, 22nd June in Maidstone. The successful candidate will require approval by the Director before appointment is made.

About the Executive Support Assistant role

You will provide comprehensive business, operational and organisational support to the Director including report writing and budgetary support. You will have excellent project management and research skills and have a flexible approach to your work.

This role requires confidence to act as the first point of contact for the Director, liaising with members of the public and senior members of staff across the local authority and the wider education network. You will have awareness of strategic level decisions including sensitive and confidential information alongside detailed operational activity to equip you to deal with most queries.

The successful candidate will work independently with minimal direction. The role offers a blend of home working and office working. The work is interesting, varied and demanding and is well suited to someone with a calm and organised approach with a desire to providing a positive contribution to young people and families within Kent.

Requirements

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position.
